KT, accompagnée de quelques amis chanteurs (Jarvis Cocker, Vanessa Carlton, Feist, et Martha Wainwright) , a rejoint une expédition qui se dirige vers l’Arctique pour constater les changements liés au climat.

Elle est partie  le jeudi 25 septembre, sur un bateau  qui voyagera jusqu’aux abords du Glacier Jakobshavn (un des plus grands glaciers du Groenland qui perd 20 millions de tonnes de glace chaque jour)

Ce blog va renaître, avec l’aide d’Enileec, c’est une bonne nouvelle. Le blog subit un nouveau lifting. Tout n’est pas fini, mais je ne peux tout faire en une seule fois… laissez moi 2-3 j

KT sera présente au festival de Werchter (Belgique) cet été.

Dans sa dernière entrée sur son site, KT nous annonce qu’elle et Luke sont fiancés !!! Il lui a demandée sa main le soir du réveillon de Noël, toute la famille était au courant, puisque Luke avait demandé la main de KT à ses parents un mois auparavant.

Elle nous demande de jeter un coup d’oeil sur sa bague quand elle jouera sur scène.

En V.O. , ça donne ça…
Lucky Luke calls me on christmas eve,
“I’m in Norwich with my mates” he said.
“Say hi” I said.
“Katie says hi” he shouted.
LIAR! He was in a pub in Leith in Edinburgh with my big brother, who I didn’t even notice had disappeared for 3 hours! So 11 o clock on christmas morning, the doorbell goes and I’m all worried it’s the paps wanting a shot of ‘KT’s hand-knitted christmas day outfit with matching headband and slippers’ (I’m joking), and it’s Luke, suited and booted. With all his bags. And a little box. Wrapped with a ribbon.

He PROPOSED!!! AAAAAAAAARRR!! He’d been to see my folks a month before to ask their permission, so everyone knew – I’m slightly worried at how good they are at acting now!

Being an opportunist, I obviously said yes, and we’re gonna do the deed way up in the wild north before the end of the year. It feels smashing. I never thought it would make me feel so good. I’m tempted to be really sad and post a pic of my ring – it’s gorgeous! Keep an eye out for a little sparkle as I’m playing those chords…
